At the end of its first decade, C & S chose its first President.
By 1999, meeting the ever-increasing, recognized needs of the community fostered an organic, evolving growth for Care & Share, with formalized CT-based by-laws and an Executive Board and President.
The nature of this leadership position, the challenges faced, and the tasks prioritized for accomplishment changed from one of these office holders to the next, and within the time periods of their service as President.
Consistent throughout has been a purposeful commitment to keep Care & Share a fully voluntary service organization.
A perusal of the highlight and the detailed pages of this "History of Care & Share" website makes this diversity of Presidential personality and service evident.

Each President provided an oversized sense of generosity and commitment to respond to the needs of our neighbors and of the C & S volunteers. Keeping those volunteers' good will required each President's guidance and structure, in order to maximize the good deeds of Care & Share and its steadfast reliability and the organization's stellar reputation in the town and region. Here is a roster of the women and men who have served over time as Care & Share Presidents.
