Thanksgiving 1989

Our Founders knew there were families who needed help.

They had been serviced at prior holidays by East Lyme Nurses, who were becoming overwhelmed by the task.

Eight families received Thanksgiving baskets that year, and Care & Share of East Lyme was born.

Fourth Founder, Wendy Collins, who lived out-of-state and  was not able to attend the 20th anniversary, graciously provided this photo from that time period.
