The Pantry - Center for Identity and Service

The Journey & the Mission

The Journey & the Mission

Functioning on community courtesy, borrowed time, and an increasing client base, the mission to take care of clients far outweighed the unknown, and the pantry conditions we Care & Share volunteers sometimes had to endure.

The Journey & the Mission

The Journey & the Mission

The Journey & the Mission

We continued to seek a more permanent home for Care & Share. We reached out for help, and the community answered.

The Journey & the Mission

Here are some steps along the path of that journey

The Sail Loft

At Niantic Awning - The Sail Loft housed the earliest stages of the Care & Share Pantry

Lillie B. Haynes

For some time, a space in the Lillie B Haynes School was used for food storage

11 Hope Street

And then downtown in Niantic the Pantry was given space off public parking near the theater at 11 Hope Street

12 Roxbury Road

Lastly, the current stop on the journey is the Care & Share Pantry at 12 Roxbury Road
